Microsoft Store Dubai is among the eight cities in which Microsoft plans to launch Windows 8. The event is scheduled for October 26. Other cities that will have the same honour are New York, Paris, Hong Kong, New Delhi and Shanghai. Retailers in Dubai are already getting ready for the big release. So, are consumers by researching more information about Microsoft latest offerings.

The Windows 8 operating system will come with many improvements. The new operating system will have a fresh new interface and many new features. In addition, Windows 8 users will be able to use Xbox Music to listen and download their favourite music tracks and, also, to shop for various apps from the Windows Store. Moreover, Microsoft has developed some special applications for people who live in Dubai or plan to travel there like Dubai Cinemas, Dubai International Airport and Jumeirah Restaurants.

Online Special Offers

Microsoft Corp already started the pre-orders for Windows 8 last Friday. This time around the company is offering shoppers great discounts for early online orders.

The price of the full edition of the operating system is set at $69.99 for a DVD pack if you buy it from a regular store. Computers that are already running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 can simply upgrade to Windows 8.

The new Windows pack can be pre-ordered at the Microsoft stores, as well as on Amazon.com and other online retail platforms. However, Microsoft has only announced the prices for upgrades and not for complete installations.

Microsoft has teamed up with companies like Samsung, Acer, Sony, Asustek and Dell. As a result, new computer devices from these brands will come with Windows 8 at an exclusive price if they are pre-ordered online.

Sounds like online shoppers will enjoy lots of special offers and bargains! Therefore, if you plan to buy the new Windows 8 operating system, do that online and do it now before the offer still stands.
