UAE’s financial markets to close for Eid Al Fitr holiday

The Eid Al Fitr holiday for the financial markets will start on Friday, August 17 ( corresponding to 29 Ramadan) and will run until the third day of Shawwal ( hijri calendar), the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) said on today.

SCA said that the transactions will be resumed on the fourth day of Shawwal.

The SCA took the opportunity to congratulate President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Their Highnesses Members of Supreme Council and Ruler of emirates and the UAE people, on the advent of Eid Al Fitr and to express best wishes of good health for them.
