“The Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest 2012”
Month-Long Festival Invites Diners to Enjoy Thai Cuisines in UAE as well as Win Prizes
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced ‘The Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest 2012’ is to be held from 8 June – 7 July 2012 at 13-participating restaurants across the UAE. Throughout the month-long Thai Food Festival diners at the participating restaurants will have the opportunity to win a number of exciting prizes for a trip to Bangkok with Thai Airways and much more gift vouchers. For every AED200/- spent at a participating restaurant, diners will automatically be entered into the prize draw which also includes a three-night stay at the Dusit Thani, Bangkok, a half-day cooking class and dinner for two at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Benjarong.
The lucky winners of the Prize Draw will be announced on Sunday 15th July 2012 at www.tourismthailand-middleast.org Speaking about the Thailand Food Festival, Tourism Authority of Thailand Director for the Middle East, Mr Wisoot Buachoom said: “The Amazing Taste of Thailand Food Festival 2012 is a great opportunity for UAE residents and visitors to enjoy world-renowned Thai cuisine as well as win lots of prizes. The ‘Thainess’, which is at the heart of Thai hospitality permeates across all of Thailand, from our amazing beaches and natural environment to our culinary expertise. Thai cuisine is a key element of ‘Amazing Thailand’ and the
ingredients used, the various herbs and spices together with cooking methods is all part of the essence of Thailand”.
All 13 participated restaurants will show case their tastiest special dishes at the Launching events on Saturday, 2 June 2012, at Dusit Thani Dubai. These include Benjarong, Blue Elephant, Pai Thai, Sukhothai, Spice Emporium, Ban Khun Mae, The Kitchen of Thai, Shang Thai, Thai Chi, The Royal Buddha, Chimes,
The Thai Kitchen in Dubai as well as Taste Restaurant in Fujairah.
