With the number of HNWIs in the region continuously rising, organisers say they expect more than 25,000 visitors. Some early birds already have been spotted around the Dubai Marina during the past weeks. Year after year, the boat show attracts an audience of HNWIs. They visit the show to see exhibiting companies’ new super yachts, watercrafts and related equipment. They also like the social networking with   other boat enthusiasts who are attracted to the show’s additional luxury offerings, such as the Supercars.

The Dubai International Boat Show celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Last year  the event recorded its biggest sale. A 40-metre Sunseeker super yacht was sold for AED 100 million. Additionally, exhibitors reported excellent sales with smaller boats, mid-range yachts and super yachts.

For the third year in a row, luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz and elite watchmaker Officine Panerai have confirmed they will act as supporting sponsors of the show.

Amongst the line-up of Mercedes-Benz vehicles to be showcased this year will be  SLS AMG Roadster and the  new M-Class.
