Formula1 Pilots Football Charity Event Live in Abu Dhabi
- In Abu Dhabi the last prestigious event of the 30th season for Nazionale Piloti
For the 30th year of activity, Nazionale Piloti closes the season in the breathtaking sight of Abu Dhabi: on Wednesday 9th November 2011 at 7pm at Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi there will be the first edition of Pilots Football Charity Event in which Nazionale Piloti will play against the International Sports Stars.
A match that promises to be a prestigious event thanks to the enthusiasm shown from the beginning by DM Cube , in particular by Patrizia Azzariti, that has organized all the details of the evening in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Sports Council: the match will be broadcast on Abu-Dhabi Sports Channel and on Prime Time by Raisport1.
In Abu Dhabi it’s expected one great parade of stars. In fact on the field with Nazionale Piloti there will be the cool 2011 world champion, the youngest twice world champion ever in the history of Formula one Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull) in his first match after the achievement of the title in Japan, the twice world champion and great fighter on the track Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), the Brasilian driver from Sao Paulo Felipe Massa (Ferrari) who will come back with the team after the
triumphal presence in Budapest, the Official Pracing Horse tester and 2011 Gp2 Series driver Jules Bianchi (Ferrari), Vitaly Petrov (Renault) always present with great enthusiasm, strong charity and humility, the Mexican Sergio Perez (Sauber) maker of a great first season in Formula One, Vitantonio Liuzzi (HRT) who will be on the bench with his girlfriend, Jerome D’Ambrosio (Virgin) beautiful protagonist in the match in Camposampiero – Padova (Italy) , the Team Lotus Official Tester Ricardo Teixeira who participates with a strong passion to the matches organized, the Colombian Julian Leal (Rapax Gp2) who will come back on the track for 2011 Gp2 Final in Abu Dhabi (not valid for the championship) in the same Formula One’ weekend, the Monaco driver Stefano Coletti (Trident Gp2) who will go on the track with Toro Rosso for the Young Driver Test that will be in Abu Dhabi in the following week of Grand Prix, the Venezuelan Johnny Cecotto (Ocean Gp2) in a great shape with the team and in Gp2, the Vice-champion Luca Filippi (Coloni Gp2) very strong Italian talent, the Swiss Fabio Leimer (Rapax Gp2) already integrated with the team. With the team there will be the German Maro Engel (DTM Mercedes) top scorer of the team also in this season, the technical speaker of the Italian Television Ivan Capelli (RaiSport) and one of the pillars of the team, the San Marino driver Christian Montanari (Superstars) author of the first goal of the season in the last match in Camposampiero (Padova, Italy), Matteo Munari (Rally Team) author of fantastic saves in every match. Because of previous commitments there will not be the two Mercedes drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg.
Nazionale Piloti will challenge against the International Sports Stars composed by Talal Al Hashemi, Abdul Hamid Al Mistaky, Fahad Ali, Majid Al Auwais, Mohammed Obaid Hamodoon, Mohammed El Enzi, Ebrahima Diaky, Fareed Ali, Khaldoon Al Mubarak e Mustafa Agha.
A unique event of its kind, a special evening with International celebrities of the sport including the Ferrari Sporting Director Massimo Rivola already present in Monza last 7th September, David Trezeguet (Baniyas Club) 1998 Football World Champion, 2000 European Champion and finalist at football world championship in 2006 and Walter Zenga (Al Nasr Club) ex goalkeeper for Inter, Sampdoria and Italian National Football Team.
One part of the funds raised will be devolved in charity to the association named by Nazionale Piloti: I.O.V Istituto Oncologico Veneto and to Ricerca Biomedica Avanzata Padova.
