Strong turnout to Federal National Council Election

His Excellency Dr. Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Minister of State for Federal National Council (FNC), announced that the voting period for the Federal National Council election, today, has been extended until 8:00 PM.

This is aimed at allowing more voters to participate in the election, and after taking into consideration some technical glitches reported early this morning, which have been addressed promptly.

Dr Gargash confirmed that the election procedures are being undertaken as planned, with all Election Centres across the country reporting strong voter turnout.
