New social networking members club launches in Dubai

Gooseberry is a members only networking club for like-minded professionals that hosts informal, fun social occasions in Dubai – predominantly dinners – with concerts, golf days, boating events and more coming in the cooler months.

The organizers arrange an informal meeting with prospective members to determine factors such as age, interests, dietary, drink, location and smoking requirements so that we can be sure to group compatible people and organise fabulous days and nights out.

Membership is ideally suited to people who are looking for good food and conversation, new to Dubai, stuck in a social rut and – most of all – looking to expand their social network by meeting friendly people in a relaxed environment.

Michelle McDonald, owner of gooseberry said: “I formed gooseberry to initiate fun occasions for Dubai professionals looking to get out more and meet new people. Our calendar of events kicks off at The Cellar, Garhoud, on June 17th where our guests can choose from a Table d’Hôte menu of 6 starters, 5 mains, and 4 desserts for just AED 275 per member including drinks & service charge.

Gooseberry events take place throughout the week to be sure there’s something to suit everyone.
