Luxury Hotels by Dnata more than Doubles Portfolio
Luxury Hotels by Dnata announced today the addition of Thailand’s largest hotel chain, Centara Hotels and Resorts, to its growing portfolio. The addition of the Centara brand more than doubles the number of hotels and resorts in the portfolio.
With headquarters in Bangkok, Centara Hotels and Resorts are located throughout Thailand and internationally. The company operates and manages 26 hotels and resorts in Bangkok, Hua Hin, Krabi, Pattaya, Samui, Koh Pha Ngan, Phuket, Rayong, Trat & Koh Kood, Hat Yai, Chiang Mai, Mae Sot and Udon Thani. The other three properties are located in the Maldives, India (Himalayan Mountains) and Egypt.
In addition to Centara Hotels and Resorts, Luxury Hotels by Dnata has recently added Il Salviatino in Fiesole (near Florence, Italy), and Sankhara Villas in Mauritius to the portfolio.
Il Salviatino is a 15th century Renaissance, 58-room villa, perfectly restored to reveal original frescoes and marble fireplaces. Nestled on the hillside of Fiesole, its location offers some of the most spectacular views of Florence, just 10 minutes away. Opened in September 2009, the luxury property is set on 11 acres of rolling hills and stunning Tuscan gardens. It features an award-winning Devarana Spa and two restaurants.
Designed with the look of a private home, Sankhara Villas offer luxurious accommodations to guests seeking a discreet setting. Located on the northeast coast of Mauritius, the resort has a beautiful white sand beach. Guests can enjoy the services of a private chef, butler and chauffeur. Villas have either three or five bedrooms, ideal for families or couples. Among the features are a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, outdoor showers and complimentary wireless Internet access.
