All workers and employees in the private sector institutions and companies will get a one-day paid holiday on The first of January 2010 to mark the New Year, according to the Ministry of Labour.
The Minister of Labour H.E Saqr Ghobash seized the opportunity to congratulate President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.
