Etisalat launches ‘text to win’ promotion for free FIFA Club World Cup tickets
Etisalat activates sponsorship of the FIFA Club World Cup with its ‘Festival of Football’ promotion open to all customers and football fans
In activation of Etisalat’s sponsorship of the FIFA Club World Cup, Etisalat customers and avid football fans may be just a click away from attending this year’s tournament being held in Abu Dhabi from 9 to 19 December 2009. As part of Etisalat’s ‘Festival of Football’ campaign, football fans have the chance to text and win free tickets to the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup tournament in Abu Dhabi.
Etisalat ‘Festival Football’ is now live and it offers fans chances to win free tickets to any of the eight matches and be part of all the FIFA football action right here in the UAE. Etisalat customers, who subscribe to the football news service for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup by simply sending an SMS to ‘1110 including “FIFA”, are eligible for the draw.
In addition, fans will be able to explore and win exciting prizes on Etisalat’s dedicated mirco site at www.etisalat.ae/football that will be activated soon. The interactive micro site by Etisalat is the first-of-its-kind online initiative in the UAE that is being launched in conjunction with the upcoming tournament in order to boost the excitement of the game.
During the tournament, football aficionados can also visit dedicated fan zones for an experiential ‘penalty shoot out’ on all eight days of the matches and enjoy thrilling tricks by football freestylers at the Etisalat stands.
