Bloomberg’s office in Dubai to expand it’s activities

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the Chairman and President of Bloomberg LP, Peter T. Grauer, at his office in Emirates Towers today.

During the meeting, they reviewed the company’s future expansion plans in the area of business information.

In a presentation of his firm’s activities in the region, the Bloomberg Chairman said that the UAE commands great trust and respect from international economic and financial bodies. He added that the UAE continues to be a major point of attraction for international investors, thanks to the country’s enviable status as one of the world’s most stable and fastest growing countries.

Grauer briefed Sheikh Mohammed on Bloomberg’s development plans, saying that the regional office in Dubai will be working to expand the company’s activities in business news to include the Middle East, North Africa and India. He also cited the UAE’s logistic facilities as the biggest incentive for investors and companies to expand their businesses in the country and the region beyond.

Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Media Escort to Sheikh Mohammed and Managing Director of Dubai Media Incorporated, Ahmed Al Sheikh and other officials were present at the meeting.
