Amadeus launches operations in Lebanon
Amadeus, a global leader in technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, has further expanded its reach in the Middle East with the launch of its local operations in Lebanon.
Based in Beirut at the GEFINOR Centre near Hamra Street, Amadeus Lebanon, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amadeus IT Group launched operations in August, providing its complete offering of solutions and services to the Lebanese travel agency community.
Overseeing the new office is Aymeric Lanez, who has been responsible for launching operations in Lebanon as General Manager. His track record includes starting operations in new markets across MEA in the past years. “We consider the launch of Amadeus Lebanon a major milestone in Amadeus’ expansion plan in the Middle East”, says Aymeric.
