Construction works on Palazzo Versace on track

Emirates Sunland Group has confirmed its AED 2.3 billion Palazzo Versace Dubai is well underway with its construction and the development’s 1.4 million square feet concrete frame almost complete.

Palazzo Versace Dubai, which will provide 169 private residences and 217 hotel suites is well advanced and is fast becoming a landmark along the Dubai Creek foreshore. The building’s design reflects world famous palace layouts with the central area allocated for the hotel facilities and the Ala Sinistra and Ala Destra for the private condominiums. Throughout the central hotel section, the floor slabs have now been completed up to level nine with the final level comprising the Imperial suites to be completed by the end of August.

The 2 sections of the eastern condominium wing have now reached the 8th and 9th level and the western wing sections now stand at levels 7 and 8. The completion of the residential wings is also anticipated by the end of summer this year.

Steel trusses are in place to complete the roofing of the prestigious ballroom while at the same time providing support for the private residential plunge pools. The Palazzo Versace Dubai structure incorporates precast concrete panels for both floors and walls which is more time efficient than casting concrete onsite. Mosaic artists have already begun detailed artworks which will grace the floors and walls of the hotel and residences.

Mr Soheil Abedian MD of Emirates Sunland Group said that “Palazzo Versace Dubai is really taking shape and its stature can easily be seen by passing traffic on the Business Bay Bridge. The progression of the development from week to week has stepped up in pace and we already have artisans working off site to complete the detailed mosaics that will feature throughout the development.”

Approximately 20% of the residences remain for sale, with homes ranging from 2 bedroom apartments providing 1,700 square feet to a 6 bedroom duplex with a total 15,000 square feet of luxurious space.

The designer residences and hotel suites will all be furnished with an exclusive line of Versace Home Collection products. The 5.5 hectare development also offers a Vanitas fine dining room, a day spa, ballroom and convention facilities and a Versace boutique. Palazzo Versace Dubai, set in landscaped gardens complete with a marina is Dubai’s most prestigious waterside address.
