Modhesh Friends Club invites children to join the ultimate fun club this DSS

Modhesh Friends Club, the ultimate club for children during Dubai Summer Surprises 2009, has announced registration from Sunday, May 24, as it prepares an overdose of fun and frolic in addition to edutainment programmes for all children. The Club will commence from June 14 and go on till August 13.
The members of the club will have numerous activities this summer as the Dubai Shopping Festival Office has laid out a comprehensive and carefully planned programme that aims at developing children’s skills and abilities while having fun. The programme will include field trips to various entertainment and social institutions around the city of Dubai.Â
Suhaila Gobash, Events Manager of DSF Office and the Club Supervisor said, “Modhesh Friends Club is a unique camp for the fact that children of numerous nationalities get together for a single aim of learning and entertainment. Such an interaction opens scope for mutual understanding and children learn key values like tolerance that is essential in the younger generations today.â€
“Every year, the DSF Office carefully plans and revises the programme for the Club. As an example, club members from DSS 2008 will find a completely new, affordable, and exciting package of learning and fun this year. Apart from learning modules that involve indoor and outdoor programmes, skilled and highly trained personnel add to parents’ confidence that their children are safe and cared for throughout,†she added.     Â
Being a member of the club gives children a wide range of benefits including field trips, social visits to hospitals, and water bus trips. Additionally, the club offers a range of programmes related to topics such as Islam (for Muslim children only), society and culture, creativity and skills development, sports, and for the first time, mathematics. Modhesh Friends Club members also have unrestricted and free access to Modhesh Fun City everyday and get to watch stage shows for free as wellÂ
The Club functions from Sunday to Thursday from 10am to 4pm. Membership fees are AED 1000 per member for one month. Application forms are now available at the Dubai Shopping Festival Office in Deira, Department of Economic Development building first floor.
