Air Miles welcomes New Participant – The Arabian Center

arabian-center_imageAir Miles has just signed up the Arabian Center on Al Khawaneej Road in Mirdiff as a new partner to its loyalty programme. It is the second mall venture of the Lals Group in the UAE, after Lamcy Plaza, which has been successfully partnering with Air Miles since 2001.

The Arabian Center is located on the Al Khawaneej Road in Dubai and, like Lamcy Plaza, is home to over 175 internationally renowned brands such as H&M, New Look, Mango, Splash, Top Shop, Next, Alcott, Paris Gallery, Shoe Mart, Homes R Us, World Mart Hypermarket and Fun City, together with cinemas, restaurants, health facilities and more.

“We are delighted to welcome the Arabian Center into the Air Miles family,” said Dave Battiston, Air Miles’ CEO. “The undoubted success of the scheme in Lamcy Plaza has clearly shown how popular and effective this partnership has been and so it is with great excitement that we are launching this new partnership.”

“Shoppers can earn one Mile for every 2 dirhams they spend with Arabian Center offering Miles for their total shopping value regardless of whether the outlet is a participating Air Miles member or not. All they have to do is to take their shopping bills to the customer service counters. However, on top of that they also earn Miles by shopping at any participating outlet within the mall, thus giving them twice the number of Miles achievable.

“This special added value is something that shoppers will definitely benefit from,” Battiston continued. “Our members are always on the lookout for added value, and together Air Miles and the Arabian Center are giving them just that. Effectively, we are helping shoppers stretch their hard-earned money much further.”

The Arabian Center also offers members instant redemption of their Miles, making shopping much more convenient. They simply show their Air Miles Card at customer services and can redeem their accumulated points for shopping vouchers which can be used both within the mall as well as at Lamcy Plaza.

“Instant redemption is a feature that we launched late last year and we are delighted to report that people have quickly discovered how easy it is to redeem their points and be able to enjoy the benefits,” Battiston added. “Our research clearly shows that shopping vouchers are by far and away the most popular reward being sought by our members, so we are convinced that this new instant redemption at the Arabian Center will prove to be very popular. We firmly expect this trend to increase, especially as instant redemptions will soon be found in many more outlets.”
