Hande Oynar appointed Deputy Editor in Chief of Luxos Istanbul; the newest edition to Luxos Worldwide

LUXOS, Your Local Guide to Global Luxury, is proud to announce Hande Oynar as its Deputy Editor in Chief of Luxos Istanbul; the newest edition to Luxos Worldwide.

Born and raised in Istanbul, Hande Oynar worked for Time Out Istanbul as the Features and Food & Drink editor for two years before moving to New York in 2007 to get her master’s degree in Arts and Culture Journalism at Columbia University. Upon graduation, she began working at the New York office of The Art Newspaper, where she wrote about the art scene in Istanbul and reported from contemporary art fairs in the U.S.

Now she is glad to be back in her hometown writing about arts and culture for a number of Turkish and English publications, as well as putting together the very first issue of Luxos Istanbul. Hande, says, “I’m very happy to be a part of the Luxos team and I’m really excited that Luxos readers will be exploring Istanbul through my recommendations.”
