Architectural Group International opens new office in Abu Dhabi

ferrari-pic-closeArchitectural Group International (AGI), a leading architectural and interior design firm headquartered in Covington, KY, announced the opening February 2nd, 2009, of a new office in Abu Dhabi.  The strategic location, along with the addition of Senior Project Architect, LeDoux “Ty” Provosty will allow AGI to better serve its current and future project developments in this region.

“After careful consideration regarding the  opening  of a branch office in other parts of the world including South America and Asia, we determined after having completed projects and currently executing architectural work in the UAE, that this would be the best opportunity for AGI to expand,” said David Thiel, Principal.

ferrari-picAGI has teamed up with Jack Rouse Associates (JRA) to develop the design and provide construction documentation for the exciting new Ferrari World Theme Park in Abu Dhabi.  Jack Rouse Associates is currently working for the developer, ALDAR Properties, the owner of Ferrari World.  When completed, the attraction will serve as the entertainment anchor for the US $40 Billion Yas Island development.  AGI is serving as the Architect for the attractions within Ferrari World.

Ty Provosty, AGI Senior Architect, brings 34 years experience in the building profession, including 26 years of architectural experience to AGI.  He will be responsible for AGI’s presence in Abu Dhabi, managing the new AGI office and the staff of designers. He will also serve as the on-site Architectural Liaison for the attractions.
