Dubai American Academy highlights technology skills of students at Tech Connections

tech-connections1Dubai American Academy recently hosted Tech Connections, a unique display of the technology skills and acumen of students, organised annually by GEMS Education.

The fifth edition of Tech Connections highlighted the innovative approach of integrating technology education into the classroom. The objective of the event is to strengthen the understanding of students about modern technologies through hands-on involvement.

Michael McGlade, Director of IT at Dubai American Academy said: “Forward thinking is a core value at GEMS, which focuses on the development and application of technological skills of students. Tech Connections highlights the importance of forward thinking and hands-on application with a special focus on the challenges and opportunities presented by today’s digital era. The event served as a perfect opportunity for students to display their understanding of modern technologies, which will enable them to apply their learning in real-life work environments. It also acted as a forum for exchanging knowledge and information.”
