GEMS Wellington International School hosts British author Richard Hahlo

Richard Hahlo, renowned author, actor and Education Associate of the Royal National Theatre in the UK recently visited the GEMS Wellington International School in Dubai and shared his insights and experiences with a group of over 50 Grade 12 and 13 students.

Hahlo, who co-authored the famous book ‘DRAMATIC EVENTS How To Run a Successful Workshop’, led an interactive session with the students, demonstrating the right approach to job interviews and helping them prepare for successful careers in future.

About Richard Hahlo:
Richard Hahlo is an author, professional actor and an Education Associate of the Royal National Theatre in London. He trained in theatre at Exeter University in England, and won a scholarship to continue acting studies at the University of California in the USA. As an actor he has worked with many theatre companies in Britain including the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company. He recently played Puck with the Carrousel State Theater in Berlin, Germany. He has also been appearing in Paddock Productions’ adaptation of Daisy Ashford’s ‘The Young Visiters’ – including a special performance at the House of Lords in London.
Hahlo has facilitated drama development work for groups in Theatre and Education throughout Britain. He is also Programme Director of the National Theatre theatreworks Management Training Programme and has worked with many international Corporate Companies. He has led theatre workshop programmes in many parts of the world. He is a regular guest speaker at IMD, the leading International Business School in Switzerland. His innovative and exciting work is much in demand and he is asked to teach all over the world including recently Japan, Hong Kong, USA, Russia, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany and Holland.
