UAE to participate in POWER-GEN Middle East

The premier exhibition and conference for the power and water industries of the Middle East will be hosted by the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre, Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain from 17th to 19th February 2009.
POWER-GEN Middle East has received the official Patronage from H.H. Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Following the success of the event in Bahrain in 2008, the Bahrain Electricity and Water Authority is also providing their endorsement of the event, ensuring the 2009 event to be well supported.

Event Director, Glenn Ennsor, said, “We are delighted to, once again, be receiving the Patronage from the Prime Minister and official support and endorsement from the Electricity and Water Authority of Bahrain. These two ensorsements combined make the event very welcome in the country and ensure a greater success for the region’s premier event for the power and water industries.”

UAE will take part at the POWER-GEN Middle East Conference 2009, which will take place during the ehxibition.

Neil Walker, Marketing Manager of Panwell Group, said a number power and water authorities, and energy companies from the UAE and GG countries will take part at the event. He expected that energy industry investment of the Middle East countries will touch US$ 120billion in next 10 years.
