The Dubai branch of the Red Crescent Authority (RCA) organised an entertainment day for 40 orphans sponsored by the Authority. The group of children was taken to various places of fun and entertainment in the emirate as part of the continued effort of RCA to give them emotional support.
Director of the Dubai branch of RCA Yahiya Abdullah Al Moaini said that the Authority spares no effort to give the orphaned children necessary psychological support to integrate them into the normal social life.
The Day was organised with the financial help form a group of well-wishers, who distributed a variety of prizes and gifts among children.
Over 200 orphans are on permanent sponsorship by the Dubai branch of RCA with support from donors.
He called on people to show more attention to this section of the less fortunate ones who lost their parents in their childhood.
